It shows that people do enjoy the various affordable guesthouses and lodges dotted all over Zimbabwe. WOW World of Wonders.

This very popular tour takes you through the highlights of Zimbabwe.
It covers large parts of Zimbabwe, though the daily distances traveled are very manageable.
Mode of transport is by a hired car or bus from the starting point Harare up till Victoria Falls (selfdrive for individuals or bus tours for groups). We will organize accommodation and transport making sure your trip is hassle free!

Harare

You will be met upon arrival at the Harare International Airport, from where you will be transferred to your hotel. Here you receive all your travel documents, i.e. vouchers for the accommodation , a road map, a detailed itinerary, a list of phone numbers and contact details.
An experienced travel consultant will come to the hotel to advise you on everything you want to know about your trip.
Harare itself has some interesting historical sites like the Parliament Building in the center, the so-called Kopje, from which you have a magnificent view over the city. The Botanical gardens are beautiful, during any time of the year. There are various markets and shopping centers to be visited. Harare has several restaurants of excellent quality.

Nyanga

En route from Harare there are various points of interest e.g.: Malwatte, a traditional tea garden past Marondera, the colorful market place in Rusape and the spectacular views of Lake Rusape. The road to Vumba shows very astonishing landscapes. Nyanga offers spectacular landscapes e.g.: Worlds View, Nyagombe Falls, Pungwe View, Honde View, Mutarazi Falls. Ancient pit – structures can be found in the Nyanga National Park

Vumba

The Vumba (the words means mist) is known for its Botanical Garden, the rain forest and one of the best birding areas in the country. There are many walking trails in this area.

Mutare

Mutare is also worth a visit with its green market and the famous Cecil Kopje Reserve which is host to a wide selection of wild-life.

Chimanimani

Chimanimani is only a 2 ½ hour drive away from Mutare. This drive takes you through a mountainous landscape dotted with typical rural African villages.
Chimanimani Village is quietly hidden within a short distance from the awesome mountains of the Chimanimani National Park. You have the option of taking a hike into the mountains up to the mountain hut. This is a 2 hours climb with fantastic views. Alternatively you may do a more relaxed walk to the Bridal Veil Falls and the Eland Sanctuary.

Masvingo

Wind your way through the coffee and tea plantations of the Chipinge Area, down through the Save Valley and on to Masvingo, host of the well-known Great Zimbabwe Ruins. You can take a tour of the ruins and a sun downer cruise on Lake Mutirikwi.
Another area of interest in Masvingo is the Lake Mutirikwi National Park which is home to a wide variety of birds, many species of plains game and a reasonable number of white Rhino. A morning game drive into this park can be done before proceeding to Matopos, which takes approximately 4 hours.

Matopos National Park/Bulawayo

A very interesting park with many historical sites such as Cecil John Rhodes’ grave and Bushmen cave paintings, and Whovi wildlife area, host to the Black Rhino.

Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park is the largest national park of Zimbabwe. It has a great diversity of wild life, and has more then 200 bird species. The standard of professional guiding in Zimbabwe is very high, and with their guidance you may encounter the elephant, sable antelope, lion, wild dog and with some luck the leopard.
It is this unique wild life experience which will make you come back to the magic of Africa!

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls has a wide selection of activities on offer including bunji jumping, white water rafting, sun-downer cruises along the Zambezi River as well as taking a stroll through the rain forest and of course, the magnificent Victoria Falls themselves.

Our usual tailor made packages include accommodation (any type) on a bed and breakfast basis, and all transport. In Hwange we offer a full inclusive package (all meals and activities).
Other activities are offered on an optional basis.
