KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will discontinue service to Harare with effect 26 October 2014. The decision to stop these flights was made in line with recent network optimizations, specifically in East Africa. The final departure from Harare to Amsterdam will be on the 25th of October 2014.
Connections to Europe, the United States and the rest of the world remain in combination with KLM’s strategic partner Kenya Airways. Kenya Airways offers fourteen weekly flights from Harare to Nairobi, with a chance to connect and experience Kenya Airways’ newest equipment including the Dreamliner and KLM’s recently refurbished World Business Class.
All passengers ticketed on KL523 to/from Harare will be reaccommodated on alternate flights. The re-booking process will commence on the 30th of July 2014, should you have any queries pertaining to this please do not hesitate to contact Kenya Airways in Harare via your established channels.
KLM would like to thank you for your valued support which made it possible for KLM to operate it’s own service to Zimbabwe for the last two years. We trust our joint offers with Kenya Airways will satisfy the needs of your passengers who can continue to enjoy a global reach and optimal service.
