Victoria Falls is known as “Adrenaline City” or “The Worlds Best Adventure Capital”. Thousands of people have done the 111-meter bungee jump from the bridge, rafting, the zip-line, and other adventures. More leisurely activities are the sunset boat cruise, fishing and game drives.
No visit to Victoria Falls is complete without seeing the Victoria Falls, which can be seen from Zimbabwe and Zambia. It is also possible to see them form the sky with a helicopter.
A very spectacular way to see the falls is during full moon. Lunar rainbows, also known as “moonbows”, are rainbows that take place at night, when a rainbow is seen in the light of the moon. Victoria Falls is one of a very limited number of sites around the world, which are known for the occurrence of moonbows. The lunar rainbow is a spectacular event that can be seen only during the full moon.
Various river-activities are offered: cruises, canoeing, fishing and of course Grade-5 rafting.
During the last couple of years many adrenaline filled activities were invented, attracting dare-devils from all over the world. The Gorge Swing, Bungi-Jumping, the Foofie Slide, the Abseil & Rapp-jump, The Flying Fox are weird names for very spectacular activities near the bridge over the Zambezi.
Very popular day-trips can be made to Chobe National Park in Botswana and Livingstone in Zambia.
