
Harare – the place that never sleeps – is the capital city of Zimbabwe and the commercial and political centre of Zimbabwe. Built more than a century ago it still has glimpses of its colonial past, with preserved historical buildings all over the place.
Harare’s traffic is challenging with many cars moving all over the city. Roads in the suburbs especially, are not easy to drive with many potholes and not-so-easy to find roads. However, our drivers are used to find their way around, so don’t hesitate to rent our chauffeur driven cars.

Harare is a relatively safe destination with excellent access to a variety of hotels, lodges and restaurants. Besides its historical buildings, Harare has got many interesting places to visit: The balancing rocks of Epworth, rock paintings at Domboshava, the small National Park at Lake Chivero, just to name a few.

One of our popular tours is a walking safari in down town Harare. This guided tour starts at the National Railway Station, via the 4th Street Market, Eastgate, Meikles Hotel, Africa Unity Square, Anglican Church, National Gallery, Harare Gardens, Dominican Convent School, Cathedrals and it ends at the impressive Royal Harare Golf Club. The walks take about 4 hours. Our guides are excellent, they know the history of various places, and they will lead you through the hustle and bustle of Harare.
